arrived at yck in the early morning...
was supposed to meet jy...
and sharon was the first one at the control station...
slowly.. nat, aini, kiafang, xinyi, wana and bobby arrived...
aini~ so glad to see you...
okay... jy was late...
walked all the way to level 2, outside shopping arcade...
meetup with weisiong, tang, all the current excos.. and some old faces
that i'm so happy to see
kenny and yitjing...
and yeah.... bob, sue, azimah and xavier too...
a little chit chat before entering the audi...
the freshmen dance was good...
the costume/cosplay was okay...
the prize giving is too long...
the freshmen video... much longer...
the male emcee spoke too much, very singlish...
and mentioned things that are not supposed to be said
in front of lecturers...
and the skit... effort...
bring back SANDMAN!
during refreshment break...
was pretty happy to see MsOh again...
had a chat with her...
and nat gave me lots of noodles
and others were like.. OMG... SO GREEDY
ARE YOU HUNGRY... and so on...
but nat took over to finish up... lol...
and gladys: you're not old... just stay young at heart~
our batch left when the others are behind curtains...
kenny: let's meet up some other times... and animes~
headed down to south canteen to eat... chat...
nat and wana left early...
ridzman and jy somewhere...
bob, sue, xav went back to labs...
i spent the afternoon with bobby, weisiong, xinyi, sharon and kiafang at orchard...
aini headed back home, calvin tang went to bugis to meet his friend..
so we accompanied/shopped from wisma to taka... topshop, esprit, guess, zara...
bobby bought some formal pants at a bazaar
then last stop at FarEast...
bobby wanted to try some friedmarsbar...
and we had sort of a teabreak
at the stall beside it... to have milk-tea and some fried calamari...
everyone's pretty tired and sleepy
so yeah, ended the evening early..

orchard trip...
met up with darius, cuifen and small aunt again...
from FarEast plaza...
to a chinese restaurant (DingTai something?) at Paragon
had some XiaoLongPao(dumplings), minced meat noodles and FriedRice(really nice!)
then Heeren...
took a cab from CentrePoint to HollandV...
meet up with dad at EskiBar...
a let down actually...
maybe it's a weekday... non-peak...
i don't know...
the place isn't cold...
i recalled on tv, that even the main room is cold enough
that you'll need the coat...
on actual fact, it's the "smaller" room with the icetop bar table
is the coldest one...
they allow 30mins to hang out...
drinks aren't served in ice-cups (as shown on tv)
i had the SleepingPolarBear cocktail(on their menu)
a mix of white chocs and coconut...
dad had Artic Ice... (strong almond smell)
aunt had... oh i forgot the name.. it's blue with a strong lychee smell
darius had SaltyDogs (lemon?)
and cuifen had Snowball which tasted like sprite
i wonder if they didn't add any alcohol in it...
next stop, dad decided to took darius to the Esplanade...
a quick tour from the carpark to the roof..
then to the Merlion in front of FullertonHotel...
then dinner at Geylang... lol
the SmellyBeancurd stall wasn't open...
and traffic was conjested, wasn't easy looking for a parking lot...
we had the Frogleg Porridge from the trip andrew organised...
Darius enjoyed it and he got pretty hyped
(more to the amazed and amused side)
at the "chickens", the old men, the Hotel81 rates
and durians... he didn't like it...
