instead of the usual 5 seconds...

I've watched 2 movies this week...

Van Helsing...
Kinda cheesy...
showin a "hunk" killin vampires...
wolf-man...

Sound effects... (they made some parts to shock you)

It's been a while...
Time to update some fresh stuffs...
Nothing special been happening to me recently...
Just the old usual daily chores...

Sunday:
Near mid-night...
My PS2's memory card's gone loony...
Got corrupted when i deleted some files...
Yes.. that's bad news..
One... all my saves/games data are gone...
Awww... all the hard work...
Phew... thanks to ActionReplay...
I got my ffx-2 chapter 4 backed-up in there[extra memory card]..
But hey... "thanks" to AR... it started the whole problem
Help? Friends?
Nah... they're either asleep...
or they've NEVER heard of this such problem before...
not to mention... the programme ActionReplay too...
Help? Where to?
The only available[and convinent]source is the... Internet...
I managed to found some sites... but most peeps didn't encounter THAT problem at all...
I happened to found another hardware... for PS2...
It states it could solve the problem by formatting the cards...
And guess what? For 55 bucks?
I'd rather buy a new memory card for S$30..
Think again? GOSH...
If i can't solve my own problem...
I just wasted 30 dollars cold hard cash...
[Reminder... even if you manually deleted the corrupted files... it won't do it? It's as good as spoilt... the PS2 can't detect nor save files in it]

Formatt the memory card..

Normally there some peeps doin the "dirty" job...
Jason done it before.... but in "MS-DOS" mode...
Which i'm entirely clueless on doin it...

Yup... that old clanmate of mine...
Really nice of him... to be the middle man... sms-ing me and askin
his brother at the same time...
Go to Setup--> BIOS Setting --> Change 1stBoot to CD-ROM --> Insert WINXP CD-Rom... and ta-da... the same thing as Jason did in DOS... but in a much user-friendly way
Drivers installation wise... small matter...
Got them done in a jitty...
Lastly... Plugged a slave hard-disk to transfer my backup files..
And most important... the new XP-Service-Pack... which i downloaded earlier before formattin my main hard-disk...
[It's rather necessary.. as whenever i connect to the internet... here comes the pain... that pesky worm]
In total... spent bout 2 hours... to get my PC... as good as new...
I know some peeps might be thinkin...
C`mon.. it's so easy... why bother braggin bout it?
Yeah.. i know... to me.. it's one of the acheivement i made... in my life =P
Writing this blog...
It'll remind me of memories should i refer back to the archives...

Why I'm Lurvin It [This layout]:
-> Simple... It's Final Fantasy X...
-> The clock cursor...
-> The colors... it's dark.. and it matches the background too...
-> The java stuffs...

Problems with this templete:
->Non-user friendly...
I need to experiment several times... in order not to let links overlap each other...
[Unlike the previous skin... i can add more borders and links]
->The banner's not blocked...
-> No space to put the mini gallery and tagboard
->The <$BlogDateHeaderDate$> bug/error....
It's supposed to show the actual date but not the command....
I spent bout 15-20min... comparin it with other blogskins html templetes...
And realised there's some typo...
I removed the latter "date" in < /BlogDateHeader"Date" >...
and it works! Problem fixed~

The best FinalFantasy blog skin i've ever found...
still, there's some bugs and problems within the template...
The wallpaper's supposed to cover the banner...
Makin the link box transparent...
As a result... i've gotta expand the box...
and make it black so as to cover the banner...
This will affect the tagboard... so i need more time to resolve it...
